- First phase approximately 10 m3/h
- Second phase up to 35 m3/h
Discharge of groundwater
The intended abstraction falls within the management area of the Rijnland Water Board. Under no circumstances will the groundwater withdrawals affect the phreatic groundwater level in the core and/or protection zone of a water barrier. Also, the project site is not located in an environmental protection area or groundwater abstraction vulnerability area.
The calculated flow, water load and duration of the proposed abstractions are less than the permit limit set by the Water Board.
Monitoring plan
In order to guard and monitor the groundwater level, the water level will be measured in the existing monitoring wells additional monitoring wells to be installed adjacent to the construction pit and surrounding area.
Signal and action values have been indicated from which possible measures to prevent damage to the surrounding area.
Advice on reports
Tjaden carried out the notifications to the competent authority where the advice served together with a technical work plan.
The water board has granted permission on the drainage activities.
